The car, driven by the woman, crashed against the utility pole after the man grabbed the steering wheel, causing the accident. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, passenger interference of a driver, reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident and refusing to submit to a breath test.
He was accused of walking away from the car after the crash while she drove the damaged vehicle to where she was arrested.
