A jury in February 2024 awarded Beauchamp $72.5 million, but the appellate court reduced the award for past and future pain and suffering from $25 million and $32 million to $20 million and $17 million, respectively. It also reduced her husband’s loss-of-service awards to $2.6 million and Beauchamp’s future medical expenses to $8.24 million.
